With a B.A. and law degree from Harvard, where she served on the Board of the Harvard Mediation Program,

which she speaks on communication, persuasion, mediation and relationship strategies to audiences nationwide.

She also practices law through a non-profit organization on behalf of victims of domestic violence.

Laurie was the spokesperson for T-mobile marketing campaigns appearing in their national television, radio, print and on-line publicity campaigns.

She was the relationship expert for ViaCord, a division of PerkinElmer.

She was honored with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award by the Nassau County Commission on Human Rights

and her name is inscribed on the Town of North Hempstead’s Women’s Roll of Honor.

Laurie was awarded the Anti-Defamation League Leadership Award. As Co-Director of Community Development for the Junior League of Central Westchester,

she was honored to receive the 2014 President’s Award for her volunteer work.

She resides in New York with her husband and two young children.
